I recently bought two containers of Herbalism with the intention of giving one to a friend. She HATES it so now I'm stuck with the two. I don't know if I can use all this soap withing three months, so at the risk of sounding ridiculous, can I freeze one of the containers? I store them in the refrigerator anyway.

has anyone used New! and had positive effects? what type of hair did you have? i've had three people in my house use my bar and every single one had like more hair then normal fall out after the shower.. i just want to know what type of person i can pass it on to! i don't want this pretty smelling shampoo bar to go to waste :(

oh and by the way, i found out today that i can't live without a sugar scrub. especially fairy tale ( mixed with yummyx3 or snow fairy in the shower.. delicious!! ) and i can't wait to use therapy on my stretch marks - has anyone had it work?

I think Karma has been helping my hair grow. Not with the actual growth part, since that's mostly genetic, but with the helping avoid breakage, etc. part of hair growth. I don't know, but it makes me really happy. I have slooow growing hair (it's grown maybe an inch all summer. I know because I have part of it dyed and I can tell). Should I try to add in a Lush conditioner? I've heard good and bad things. I've been using big sexy hair's volume boost conditioner on my ends lately, but I'm not in love with it. So changing wouldn't be a big deal. I have a "thing" about feeling clean though, and have acne-prone skin on my face, so I don't know. Suggestions?

Also, I bought some Star Melts to use as stocking stuffers (and one for myself too!). Should I keep them in the fridge? I know they're supposed to be a little...soft to the touch but I stash my Lush goodies in my bathroom and it gets warm and humid in there. Same with the HUGE FREAKING BOTTLE of Snow Fairy I bought my best friend...should I fridge that too (along with my huge bottle of SDM)?

Thanks! <3

Hi!

I was wondering what Lush items are good for humid climates. I'm going to be studying in Vietnam next year and it's fairly hot and humid for the time I'm going to be there. My skin is generally combination but during the summer and especially when it's humid, I break out and my face gets oily. I currently use AOBS and Baby Face for the cold weather. I haven't used Lush during the summer yet so I'm not quite sure what are some good products for humidity.

Thanks!

Does Great Pumpkin soap smell more minty than Spice Curls to anybody else? I feel like it's overpowered by the mint, I'm losing the spice.

And what is it that Cobweb is supposed to smell like?

Hello Lushies!

I have a situation I'm hoping you can advise on. Quite often I get people telling me that my face looks tired and worn out, and even asking if I'm unwell. Some days I can see what they mean, because I am in fact not feeling well for some reason (lack of sleep, period, cold, etc.). Other days it comes as more of a surprise, so it's making me slightly worried.

I'm 24. I drink lots of water and have a healthy diet. I don't drink or smoke either. However, my skin is less than perfect. I’m not sure to what extent my situation is related to that, but anyway: I've been having acne breakouts for the last five years, so I have some marks from that and my skin looks uneven in tone. Nowadays I mainly get breakouts around my mouth, chin and jaw line. The skin in that area is quite dry at the moment because of an acne cream that my skin doctor prescribed, but it's usually quite oily (as is my forehead). I also have clogged nose pores and dark circles under my eyes which get worse when I'm really tired but are pretty much always there. I should also point out that I don’t wear any make up.

My skin care habits: I wash my face when I get up and before going to sleep with Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel by La Roche-Posay (it’s what my doctor recommended, but I’m willing to replace with a Lush product). I follow it up with Tree Tea Water on my nose and my shiny, shiny forehead. I also shower with the Happy Hippy shower gel in the mornings, which makes me feel quite awake and energetic, and use the Whoosh temple balm as well (but find it a bit inefficient).

Which changes can I introduce to feel fresher, cleaner and more energetic? And is there anything I can do about the dark circles in particular?

My LUSH order arrived today, it was my first order I have ever placed online with LUSH UK. I placed my order the 1st November and it arrived this morning so that was pretty fast! I live in Belgium so it didnt had to travel very far:) Funny is that it still says pending on my order status with them.

On to the yummylicious goodies ... )</div>

I've been trying out all the new holiday goodies, and have had the chance to try out a bunch of the new retro items in the last couple of weeks, so I thought I'd write up a few reviews, in case anyone has been curious about any of these.

18 retro and holiday reviews this way )

i've been spending a fair amount on lush lately...but i can't help it. some of the holiday scents are some of my favorites in the whole line! i fear using them up and not having them available to me until (possibly) next year, if they even bring them back
